This month, the AMB Reserva Club is betting on one of the great classics of Rioja: an elegant, complex and perfectly balanced wine, made from old vineyards and with an aging that combines the expression of the fruit with the nuances provided by the wood.
Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2019 was born in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas of Rioja Alta. Its production is based on a careful selection of grapes from old vineyards, capable of offering low yields and fruit of great concentration, depth and character.
After fermentation, the wine undergoes prolonged aging in oak barrels, followed by a period of refining in the bottle. The result is a Reserva with an intense ruby red color, with an elegant and complex nose in which aromas of ripe red fruit, plum, vanilla, cocoa, sweet spices and soft toasted notes appear. In the mouth it is structured, silky and balanced, with polished tannins, good freshness and a long and persistent finish.
