Description
Milmanda 2021 is one of Spain's great aged white wines, produced by Familia Torres on the historic estate surrounding Milmanda Castle in the Conca de Barberà DO. It comes from Chardonnay vineyards cultivated in calcareous soils under a continental climate with Mediterranean influences, ideal conditions for obtaining grapes of great elegance and freshness.
After careful selection, the wine ferments and ages in French oak barrels, where it remains on its fine lees, adding volume, complexity and a silky texture perfectly integrated with the fruit.
On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe white fruit, citrus, and floral notes, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla, dried fruit, and light toasting from the barrel. On the palate, it is ample and balanced, with great freshness, structure, and a long, mineral finish that hints at excellent aging potential in the bottle.
