Nose
Subtle hints of cereal spice and sweetness intertwine to suggest ripe tropical mango, papaya and pea pods. As it ascends, traces of hard toffee and light, persistent oak chips hint at the spicy intensity on the palate. A touch of water reveals notes of cinnamon bun and salted toffee. Later, these fade with a suggestive aroma of beeswax.
Palate
Silky and fluid texture, with an intense butterscotch flavor, which softens until it becomes a rich caramel toffee. On the palate, a balanced intensity is perceived, spicy and dry, with notes of oak. The addition of water softens the honeyed sweetness, turning it into a creamy Swiss milk chocolate, with a hint of salt on the palate. A mild spicy touch controls the sweetness. Short and quite intense finish, with a spicy touch of chili that warms up quite a bit. With sweeter water, the spiciness was reduced.
