In the mouth it is intense but balanced: powerful and polished tannin, a lot of density, enough acidity to sustain the structure, and a long, straight finish that lasts with character. It is a wine that requires a large glass, aeration and attention.

Description
Vatan 2021 is a plot wine in the DO Toro made exclusively with Tinta de Toro from very old vineyards. They are historical strains, with very low production, that deliver natural fruit of enormous concentration. Winemaking is precise and aging focuses on integrating and polishing, not marking. The objective is to show the pure identity of the terroir and the greatness of the variety with the least possible interference.
Vatan 2021 is a unique and very serious vision from Toro. A collectible red with a marked personality that can be enjoyed already with aeration, but that has power, structure and balance to evolve to more complexity with years of aging in the bottle.
