Tasting notes

Deep cherry color.

It presents intense aromas of ripe red fruit (raspberry) with light toasted and spicy touches of cocoa and licorice that respond to noble aging.

Powerful and full mouthfeel with a very fresh and fruity palate, very tasty and complex, mineral, with a notable finish in the mouth where the fruity and spicy aromas reappear in the retronasal. Magnificent expression of an elegant Aragonese Grenache with very ripe tannins.

Description

Atteca 2020, with the Calatayud Designation of Origin, is a monovarietal Garnacha wine made from small plots of old Garnacha vines planted on slate soils in the highest altitude areas of the region.

Atteca remains in French oak barrels for 10 months during aging.
