Martúe Wineries

The story is born from the hand of Fausto González, a man with a dream and an ability: to unite dreams and bring together a group of people capable of shaking up a region, Castilla-La Mancha. The Martúe vineyards are located in La Guardia de Toledo. Finca Campo Martuela began planting in 1990, while Finca el Casar did so ten years later. It was not until the year 2000 when the optimal quality of the grapes was finally reached to begin making a wine with the quality that still characterizes them today, and thus label the wine under the “Martúe” brand.

The winery finished construction in 2002, ready for the presentation of the wines of the first harvest: Martúe 2001. In 2009, Bodegas Martúe obtained the qualification of Pago Campo de La Guardia, being today one of the thirteen estates in Spain with this prestigious qualification.

Martúe has a special environment without which he could not have been born. This environment is La Guardia de Toledo. A strength without which the dream, the vineyards, could not have been achieved. And a star, its people. People who form a team with a clear and firm philosophy of perseverance and dedication, perseverance and affection. Only this is the possible formula to make a wine that expresses as much feeling as Martúe does.

Constant quality together with an unbeatable quality/price ratio are precisely the keys to the growing success of this family winery. With this idea, we move forward with another winery in Segovia Bodegas y Viñedos Nieva (mythical Segovian winery that produces white wines from D.O. Rueda).

None of these achievements would have been possible without the know-how and enthusiasm of all the people who make up the Martúe Family, responsible for the birth and formation of the three wineries, contributing to each of them the personality and philosophy that distinguishes them.
