QUIÑON DE VALMIRA 2022
Information

This wine comes from vineyards located in the Rioja Oriental in the Sierra de Yerga and makes it truly special.

Thanks to its altitude, the wine acquires a remarkable freshness and vitality.

There is a ripeness in the red and black fruit flavours, characteristic of the vintage, but the vibrant acidity and firm tannins with a chalky touch give the wine great definition and structure.

Description

Grapes from a single vineyard on land from the Quaternary Era, formed by carbonate sedimentation in the form of alluvium of very varied origin (volcanic ophites, sandstone, quartz and sandstone can be found), filled with carbonate and ferrous clay colluvium, silt and sand. Fertile soil only 20 cm thick, below which there is a petrocalcic horizon between four and six metres deep (re-deposition), generated by the precipitation of poor and cold calcium carbonate, with a characteristic white hue and which determines the good management of the soil according to its state of petrification (hardening).
