Mauro 2023 is a wine from the Castilla y León Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) made primarily with Tempranillo grapes, complemented by small proportions of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Graciano. It comes from vineyards located in Tudela de Duero and Traspinedo, where the limestone soils and continental climate impart concentration and freshness to the grapes.
After careful vinification, the wine ages for 16 months in French and American oak barrels and vats, achieving a perfect balance between fruit, structure, and aging. It presents an intense cherry-red color and complex aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, balsamic notes, and subtle hints of fine wood. On the palate, it is ample, elegant, and enveloping, with polished tannins, good acidity, and a long, harmonious finish.
Mauro 2023 combines power and refinement, and faithfully represents the winery's characteristic style: wines with depth, balance and aging potential, ideal to accompany red meats, stews and game dishes.
