MONDORO Elderflower - Elderflower Liqueur
Description
Mondoro Elderflower — in Italian Aperitivo ai Fiori di Sambuco — is an Italian aperitif produced by the Campari Group from a carefully selected blend of elderflowers (Sambucus nigra), renowned worldwide for their floral, sweet notes with hints of honey. Elderflower, used since Ancient Rome for its properties and unique aroma, is the heart of this sophisticated and distinctive aperitif.
Its recipe is completed with a selection of additional botanicals that enrich the aromatic bouquet with spicy and fresh touches, creating a unique profile: floral, delicate, slightly sweet, and refreshing at the same time. At just 14% ABV, it is a smooth and versatile aperitif, specially designed to be enjoyed as a Spritz.
It has a pale golden yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it is intensely floral: elderflowers take center stage, with notes of honey, lychee, green apple, and a subtly spicy finish. On the palate, it is fresh, light, and balanced, with an elegant sweetness and a refreshing acidity that makes it very easy to drink. The floral finish is long-lasting.
How to prepare the perfect Hugo Spritz: 2 parts Mondoro Elderflower + 3 parts Prosecco + 1 splash of sparkling water + fresh mint leaves + lemon slice + plenty of ice. The most refreshing floral cocktail of the Italian summer.
Serving temperature: 6–8°C neat or over ice. Ideal for Hugo Spritz, floral gin and tonics, spring cocktails, and elegant aperitifs.
