Description

Newen Malbec 2025 is one of the most representative wines from Bodega del Fin del Mundo, located in San Patricio del Chañar, in the province of Neuquén, the heart of the Argentine Patagonia. Its name comes from mapudungun, the ancestral language of the Mapuche people, where "Newen" means strength and energy — values that define the spirit of this wine and the character of the Patagonian terroir.

Made with 100% Malbec grapes from the winery's own vineyards in the Patagonia I.G., located in the desert areas of northern Patagonia where the large temperature variations between day and night slow down ripening, favoring exceptional aromatic concentration and the natural preservation of acidity. The Patagonian wind (Cierzo del Sur) ventilates the clusters and contributes to healthier vineyards.

The winemaking combines tradition and precision: fermentation with skin maceration for 25 days that provides intense color and mature tannins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 4 months in French and American oak barrels that provide complexity and an elegant spicy touch without masking the fruit.
