Nose
The aroma is soft and velvety. Fruity notes take center stage, with orange peel at the forefront accompanied by exotic fruits. At the same time, other more complex notes of tobacco, coconut and sugar cane molasses appear.
Palate
This rum is balanced and tasty. We perceive flavors of cocoa, toasted coconut, vanilla and oak. This set is accompanied by spicy and exotic spices. Finish that reminds us of candied orange and dark chocolate
Description
Doorly's 14 Year Old Rum is a premium rum from Barbados, produced by the renowned Foursquare Distillery. Aged for 14 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels and partially in Oloroso Sherry casks, it achieves exceptional complexity and balance. With an alcohol content of 48%, it offers a rich aromatic profile of ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple and banana, accompanied by notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted wood with a subtle hint of sherry. On the palate, it is deep and harmonious, with nuances of dried fruit, honey, spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as dark chocolate and oak. Its finish is long and warm, leaving a silky and fruity aftertaste.
Distilled in column and pot stills, Doorly's 14 Years is presented without added sugars or artificial colors, making it an ideal choice to enjoy on its own or with a touch of water.
