A historical wine with deep roots. “Malleolus” has marked a before and after in the Ribera del Duero designation of origin, separating itself from the classification of wines by time in barrel to begin valuing it by its vintage. “Malleolus”, hawthorn in Latin, the way they call the vineyards in Pesquera de Duero, is an elegant wine, with great personality and with a perfect balance between maturity and freshness.
The Emilio Moro labels stand out for their image of a medallion that tells the story of the family from its beginnings. In Malleolus we see a photo of Emilio Moro during the production process in the family winepress (1972).
