Valduero 2 Maderas 2021 is a red wine with a riverside soul, made 100% with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from vineyards located at altitude, with poor soils and low production. Its name refers to its aging of 15 months in barrels made of two types of oak—American and French—, which provides complexity without masking the fruit.
In this 2020 vintage, the wine shows a harmonious and expressive profile. The nose offers aromas of ripe black fruit, vanilla, leather and a toasted background. In the mouth it is round, with polished tannins, good acidity and a long finish that invites you to continue drinking.
It is a versatile and gastronomic red wine, perfect to accompany roasts, grilled meats, Iberian sausages or cured cheeses. Valduero 2 Maderas combines tradition, precision and elegance, and represents an excellent gateway to the refined style of this prestigious Ribera del Duero winery.
