Description

Casa de la Ermita Parcela La Solana Viognier 2025 is one of the most unique and exclusive whites from the D.O. Jumilla, made by Bodegas Casa de la Ermita with 100% organically grown Viognier grapes from a single vineyard recognized as a Singular Vineyard: Parcela La Solana.

The vines are located in the highest part of the family's farm, in the heart of the Sierra del Carche Regional Park, at almost 800 meters of altitude, on rocky and poor soils with little rainfall. This extreme altitude for the area, together with the continental Mediterranean climate of the mountains, allows a slow and balanced maturation that gives the Viognier a great aromaticity, delicacy and excellent natural acidity.

Fermentation begins in oak barrels on its fine lees, in a carefully controlled process that preserves and enhances all the varietal qualities of Viognier without masking its character. The result is a very limited edition white, tremendously expressive and original.
