D.O. Valdeorras

The Denominación de Origen (D.O.) Valdeorras is a wine region located in Galicia, in north-western Spain.

Valdeorras wines are known for their freshness and elegance, made mainly from the white grape Godello and the red grape Mencía. Valdeorras wines are usually fresh, with balanced acidity and notes of white fruit and citrus in the whites, and red fruit and spice in the reds. Some Valdeorras wines may also show mineral character thanks to the region's slate and granite soils.

Valdeorras wines are ideal with seafood, fish and Galician dishes.
